Companies and investors are not singularly responsible for the fate of the planet. They don't have indefinite and direct social obligations. However, if institutional investors integrated ESG into investment and consumers reconsider corporate social responsibility (CSR) before buying the product, we can solve a lot of social challenges such as climate change or at least not exacerbate them.
